Term 1- Afterschool Sports Clubs

Dancercise, Monday 3.15-4.20pm (Years 1-3)
Magna Vita staff will continue to provide after school provision for Years 1, 2 and 3. These sessions promote our links to the local sports facility. Dancercise involves the children using glow in the dark LED wands. They will get the opportunities to dance, move and play games under the disco lights. It is a fun and exciting way for the children to get fit.

Football, Tuesday 3.15- 4.20 (Years 5&6)
Mr Brown and our sports apprentice will continue to coach our keen Year 5 and 6 footballers, promoting teamwork, determination and stamina. The children will develop skills and learn how to apply the skills within a match situation.

Games, Thursday 3.15-4.20pm (Years 3-6)
JB Sports coaching will be providing a range of activities from local specialist sports coaches, with the support from our sports apprentice. The activities will include a variety of games including tennis, volleyball and badminton.

We did it! We earned Gold!

What a year Grimoldby Primary School has had. We’ve strived to achieve the best through our commitment, engagement and delivery of competitive school sport in 2016/2017.

At Grimoldby Primary School, we provide all children with 2 hours per week of sports within the curriculum time, access to inclusive sports and a variety of after-school provision. The hard work has paid off and our achievements have been recognised with the School Games Gold Award. We are very proud to say the least – well done Grimoldby Primary School; we really are stars!

Kyra Ignite Games

A huge congratulations to our team of children who attended the Kyra Ignite Games in Spilsby, on 15th June. We had a fantastic day of different sporting events including football, tennis, goalball and a variety of obstacle courses.

The children did us proud with their outstanding behaviour.

New Age Kurling

An outstanding result from the children in Year 5.

These children participated in the Paralympic sport of New Age Kurling at Cordeux Academy, competing against other local primary teams. An amazing effort made by all, especially the children who were the over all winners!

Well done Grimoldby, yet again you have made us all proud with your positive attitudes and determination.
